Laura Gaillard Giordani

Laura Gaillard Giordani Professor Laura Gaillard Giordani teaches Entrepreneurship and Organizational Behavior at the Bocconi University in Milan and at the Sophia Antipolis in Nice. She was born in France, had an international carrier as a manager and a consultant, eventually went back to University and now holds a PhD in Business Administration (2004). Author of Organizing Entrepreneurship (Routledge, 2011) with her colleague Anna Grandori, she is also an entrepreneur and consultant in the field, especially on International Negotiation and Entrepreneurship. Laura is the initiator of The Entrepreneurial Lab where Bocconi's students interact with entrepreneurs. She is a member of the Académie de l'Entrepreneuriat et de l'Innovation and of different scientific committees. She regularly travels to the US for international conferences on Entrepreneurship (San Francisco and Boston). She is now working on a research project - and a new book - on women entrepreneurship and leadership.

On the personal side Laura is French, her parents live in Provence and she visits them often. She is the mother of three: Bruno, 23 who just got his Bs in Finance in London with a first and his now in Uppsala for a Master in Economics; Gaia, 22, in Amsterdam for a Master in Theater Management; and Julia, 14, who wants to be a stylist but is now in the French School in Milan.
