Katrina B. Smith

Katrina B. Smith, RTW Merchandiser at Louis Vuitton, is responsible for the acquisition and allocation of Men's and Women's Ready-to-Wear (RTW) product for the South Europe zone, spanning from Portugal to India.

Katrina graduated with a BA in Italian Language and Literature from Smith College in Northamption, Mass in 1998. She spent her junior year studying drammaturgia muscale at the Università di Firenze. Through this experience her ideas about working in fashion had started to take shape, leading to a thesis about Fashion and Feminism in Italy.

Beginning her career as a Buyer at Bloomingdale's, Katrina later moved to Rome, then to Bologna where she began to work in the fashion sector. She worked with Ralph Lauren, then as brand manager for Nautica Sportswear, before heading the call to Italy's fashion capital, Milan, to work as RTW Buyer for Roberto Cavalli.

Hobbies include a enjoying a good glass of wine :-), classical music, photography, travel and studying Japanese.
